Passengers
These paintings were made in 2004 - 2008, inspired by sketches done in over a decade of commuting. An exhibition was held at the Grace Emily Hotel in Adelaide, October 2009.

The Passengers book includes some of these paintings, beautifully reproduced and accompanied by fictional short stories. Limited edition signed copies of the Passengers book are available for sale in the shop.

In 2023 I painted a self portrait on an Adelaide train, so I continue to reflect on people as passengers in a public space.

Self as Passenger

Here is a determined me travelling on an Adelaide train. Reflected in the window there is also a smaller younger me, looking a little anxious, but I like the more relaxed older me looking at the viewer.
